Abuse Policy

PattaCloud provides VPS infrastructure for legitimate applications, websites, businesses, development projects, and online services. Customers are responsible for ensuring that their services are operated safely and lawfully.

Purpose of This Policy

This Abuse Policy establishes acceptable standards for using PattaCloud infrastructure and helps protect our network, customers, systems, and third parties from harmful or abusive activity.

Network Abuse

Customers must not use PattaCloud infrastructure to intentionally disrupt, attack, overload, or interfere with networks, servers, systems, or services operated by others.

  • DDoS or denial-of-service attacks
  • Network flooding
  • Unauthorized traffic generation
  • Infrastructure disruption
  • Intentional service interference

Malware & Malicious Software

PattaCloud infrastructure must not be used to distribute, host, deploy, or operate malware or other software designed to compromise systems or users.

  • Viruses and worms
  • Ransomware
  • Remote-access malware
  • Credential-stealing software
  • Botnet infrastructure
  • Other intentionally malicious software

Unauthorized Access

Attempting to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, networks, applications, or data is prohibited.

Customers must only access systems and resources for which they have appropriate authorization.

Scanning & Exploitation

Security testing must be performed responsibly and only against systems for which the customer has authorization. Unauthorized scanning or exploitation of third-party infrastructure is not permitted.

  • Exploit attempts
  • Brute-force attacks
  • Credential attacks
  • Unauthorized reconnaissance

Spam & Unsolicited Communications

PattaCloud services must not be used to send or facilitate large-scale unsolicited communications or abusive email activity.

  • Unsolicited bulk email
  • Spam campaigns
  • Phishing messages
  • Malicious email distribution
  • Email address harvesting

Fraud & Deceptive Activity

Fraudulent, deceptive, or intentionally misleading activity conducted through PattaCloud infrastructure is prohibited.

  • Phishing websites
  • Identity or account impersonation
  • Payment fraud
  • Credential theft
  • Deceptive schemes

Illegal or Prohibited Content

Customers must not use PattaCloud services for activities or content that violate applicable laws, regulations, contractual restrictions, or PattaCloud policies.

Resource Abuse

Customers are expected to operate services in a manner that does not intentionally create unreasonable or harmful impact on PattaCloud infrastructure or other customers.

PattaCloud may investigate unusual resource usage, traffic patterns, or activity that creates a material operational or security risk.

Compromised VPS

If a VPS is compromised or appears to be involved in abusive activity, PattaCloud may take reasonable action to protect its infrastructure and affected systems.

  • Temporary network restriction
  • Service suspension
  • Traffic limitation
  • Security investigation
  • Service termination where necessary

Abuse Reports & Investigation

PattaCloud may review reports concerning suspected abuse, security incidents, malicious traffic, policy violations, or other harmful activity associated with its services.

Where appropriate, PattaCloud may request additional information or corrective action before restoring unrestricted service.

Enforcement

Depending on the nature and severity of an incident, PattaCloud may take actions necessary to protect its infrastructure, customers, and network.

  • Requesting corrective action
  • Restricting affected network activity
  • Suspending affected services
  • Terminating services involved in serious abuse
  • Taking additional action where required
PattaCloud may act without prior notice when immediate action is reasonably necessary to prevent ongoing harm, security risks, or network abuse.
